Navajo Rugs

Navajo rugs are becoming quite popular these days. Authentic Navajo rugs were woven in a flat weave similar to Kilims and Dhurrie rugs. Because these rugs were woven on small, portable looms, they are usually used as scatter rugs in today's homes.

This Colorado house was featured in Veranda a few months back. It has beautiful antique Navajos scattered throughout the house. The house has a modern and slightly sparse feel to it so the rugs really add warmth to the rooms.
